FMC este prescurtarea uzuală pentru denumirea în limba engleză Fully Multi-Coated, adică acoperire integrală multistrat. Acoperirea antireflex presupune aplicarea unui strat peste suprafața optică a unei lentile, pentru a reduce reflexia. În cazul acoperirii multistrat se aplică direct mai multe straturi optimizate pentru un anumit interval de lungime de undă.
Atributul „integral” indică faptul că toate suprafețele de sticlă/aer au acoperire multistrat, nu numai suprafețele spre exterior.
