Regarding the cons, there are actually two layers of foam slightly glued and they can be separated by a solid thin sheet of plastic or wood. Nevertheless, for optimum protection each layer can hold only 1.25" eyepieces or other small accessories, being too thin for 2" eyepieces. For 2" eyepieces the both two layers must be used even with all extra-protection.

Pros:
- very nice lightweight design;
- configurable memory foam also for other eyepieces than Hyperions;
- very good build quality of rubber protected aluminum;
Cons:
- the height is a little too big for a single layer of eyepieces;
- a pocket for star charts and a shoulder strap would be very useful features;
