Leica Rangemaster CRF 2800.COM
This Rangemaster is the first Leica range-finder with integrated Bluetooth technology which, together with the custom-designed smartphone app, provides unlimited freedom and precision when it comes to range finding. With its combination of precise distance measurement, the Leica ABC ballistics system, intuitive operation, Bluetooth technology and unique design, Leica is setting new precedents as a range finding pioneer with the CRF 2800.COM.
During range finding, the new Rangemaster CRF 2800.COM takes temperature, air pressure and angles into consideration. Either the linear equivalent horizontal range (EHR), the holdover or the click adjustment are calculated and displayed on the pointing telescope. Wind direction and strength can also be taken into consideration during calculation. For this purpose, the “Kestrel Elite” wind and weather station is directly connected to the Rangefinder and the relevant compensation values sent to the Rangemaster. This combination guarantees precise measurements by using “applied ballistics” and taking up-to-date wind and weather information into account.
The new Leica Rangemaster CRF 2800.COM offers a generous visual field which enables targets to be rapidly identified from long distances. The exceptional Leica lens provides a bright, clear image, high precision and high imaging performance. The high-quality LED display is fitted with an automatic brightness control which adjusts to its surroundings without outshining your target.
The Leica Rangemaster CRF 2800.COM provides precise measurements up to 2,600 metres (2,800 yards), which can be displayed at the touch of a button. The rapid scanning mode scans the environment every 0.3 seconds and provides values in decimal digits for a distance of up to 180 metres (200 yards) - for a precise, sure shot at any distance.

Leica Hunting app interacting perfectly with the Rangemaster CRF 2800.COM
Start the Leica Hunting app in your smartphone and step into a new world of Leica Sport Optics. As soon as you open the app for the first time, a one-off tutorial opens up which takes you through the key functions. Under ‘Home’ in the lower menu bar, you can search for your new device and connect it to your smartphone. You only need to search for your device once. After successful pairing, you can find your device under ‘Devices’ in the lower menu bar.
Now you can easily and comfortably select your settings and send them to your CRF. Renaming your CRF 2800.COM lends a personal touch to your device. You can now easily select one of five brightness levels for your CRF display or opt for automatic mode. The settings can be instantly copied at the end. Of course, you can also still change all of the settings using the CRF’s menu as before.
Ballistics menu Select ‘Ballistics’ in the Lower menu bar and gain access to a complete ballistics solution.
First you need to create your personal ballistics profile. You can create as many profiles as you wish and save these on your smartphone. By selecting ‘Standard’ in the upper menu bar, you can switch between the well-known standardised EU1-EU12 curves. Either select a preset curve or allow the computer to recommend a curve based on your input. Under ‘Database’ in the upper menu bar, you can access your newly created Leica ABC ballistics database. Input all your data and create your individualised chart up to 1000 metres. At the end of the menu, you can create and save your data with just a few clicks.
Under ‘Own’ in the upper menu bar, you can create your own individual ballistics profile. Simply enter weight and bullet speed and create a completely new ballistics curve.
Additionally, you can switch from day mode into night mode. The Leica Hunting app is available for free in the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
