Monturile foto sunt monturi extrem de portabile la care poate fi atașată o cameră foto. Monturile pentru camere foto permit compensarea rotației Pământului - o condiție prealabilă pentru expunerile lungi. Acestea sunt în principiu niște monturi ecuatoriale foarte compacte pentru fotografierea cerului de noapte.
Modelele mai mari de monturi foto permit de asemenea utilizarea obiectivelor foto grele sau chiar telescoape mici.
