The integrated 3-element corrector ensures a fully illuminated image field of 70mm and automatically achieves the correct working distance in focus (back focus). The optical system was designed to give you a fully illuminated field of view with sharp stars right to the edge with full-frame cameras.
3" focuser and plenty of back focus for accessories
There is plenty of space for accessories in the telescope's imaging train. When fully retracted, up to 102mm back focus is possible, giving you more flexibility when using cameras and other devices. To easily attach cameras and other accessories, the 3" focuser in R&P design is equipped with different threads: M68x1, M54x0.75, M48x0.75.
